Women in science

Gender and women`s status in science is an important aspect of the Charter and Code and the EURAXESS initiatives. The Committee for Mainstreaming - Women in Science is a central stakeholder in Norway.

Women in Science recommends Norwegian research instiutions to include the gender aspect when implementing the Charter and Code principles.

Women in Science

The Committee for Mainstreaming - Women in Science, appointed by the Ministry of Education and Research, supports and gives recommendations on measures that contribute to mainstreaming of gender equality work in the institutions in the university and college sector and in the research institute sector, and thus promote gender equality. Read more about Women in Science
