Offer Description
Post Doc position in the frame of the HE Project: EndoCartoScope: Transforming any Endoscope into a Smart Device for Intraoperative 3D Localization, Navigation and Mapping. (G.A.: 101211633)
Profile:
Experience in research and technology transfer in 3D reconstruction, localization, and map building from colonoscopy videos.
Tasks to be performed:
- Research and implementation of visual SLAM multi-map systems in medical endoscopy, specifically the development of a multi-map SLAM library for endoscopy.
- Preparation of reports and scientific articles.
- Travel to hospitals for the acquisition of medical endoscopy sequences.
- Attendance at conferences, consortium meetings, and demonstrations.
- Possibility of collaboration in any teaching activities that allow optimal utilization of the researcher's skills, in accordance with the regulations governing teaching collaboration (Rector's Resolution of May 15, 2023).
