At Fundació de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu, we are looking for a PhD Student to join our research team focused on Epileptic Encephalopathies Models. The project is centered on the development of patient-derived iPSC models, the generation and analysis of brain organoids, deep phenotyping approaches, and drug testing strategies in organoid platforms to advance the understanding of neurological disorders and potential therapeutic interventions.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) from patient samples.
• Generate brain organoids following the laboratory’s established protocols.
• Perform deep phenotyping of brain organoids using transcriptomics and imaging techniques.
