Role Description

This is a remote, contract role for PhD Supervisors. The role involves mentoring and guiding doctoral candidates throughout their research journey. Responsibilities include reviewing research proposals, providing feedback, assisting in research planning and execution, and ensuring adherence to academic standards. Supervisors will support students in honing their critical thinking, research methodologies, and academic writing to achieve successful outcomes in their doctoral programs.

Essential Qualifications

• Strong academic background in a relevant field, with a PhD or equivalent experience
• Expertise in research methodologies, academic writing, and critical analysis
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability to remote collaboration and the ability to use digital communication tools effectively
• Familiarity with higher education guidelines and academic integrity standards

Desired:

• Proven experience in mentoring or supervising PhD-level research
• Experience in higher education or academic management is a plus
