Offer Description
The selected candidate will contribute to the development of a research project focused on the study of neurodegeneration using a murine model of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The researcher will support the execution of the project through data collection, organization, and analysis. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with literature review, preparation of experimental materials, report writing, and maintenance of research records.

- Experience working with murine models of neurodegeneration.
- Experience in the management of transgenic mouse colonies.
- Experience in primary cell culture techniques.
- Experience in molecular biology techniques, including PCR, qPCR, and genotyping.
- Experience in confocal microscopy and image analysis software (ImageJ and Imaris).
- Experience in statistical analysis using R and GraphPad Prism.
Certified training for laboratory animal handling and experimentation (Categories B and C).

Additional Information
The contract is linked to an active research group at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing activities in the field of neurodegenerative diseases.
1.990,00 €/monthly gross salary
Expected end of contract: 30/04/2027
Candidates must meet the requirements established in the job offer, including relevant experience in molecular biology techniques, animal models, and data analysis. Certified training for laboratory animal handling (Categories B and C) will be considered essential.
