The Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) invites applications for a Support Staff (PACP3, MECES 1) position within the research line "Additive Manufacturing and Biofabrication".

The contract is permanent, financed until the end date of the research project. The successful candidate will work at the Integrated Manufacturing Building, located within the Science and Technology Park on the Tafira Campus.

Main Responsibilities

The selected candidate will provide support in the execution of the following project activities and experimental tasks:

• Development and characterization of 3D-printed scaffolds: Providing support in experimental tasks related to 3D printing and scaffold characterization.
• Application of piezoelectric ceramic coatings and drug delivery systems: Providing support in experimental tasks linked to optimizing the application methodology of ceramic coatings and drug delivery systems, as well as their subsequent application and characterization on the scaffolds.
• In vitro evaluation of coated scaffolds using mechanical stimuli: Supporting experimental tasks for setting up and preparing in vitro assays under various conditions, including non-stimulated conditions, ultrasound stimulation, and perfusion flow stimulation.
• Management, dissemination/communication, and intellectual property: Providing support in writing project deliverables.
