The recruited candidate will join the group’s research lines focused on tumor-stroma interactions and the role of cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in tumor progression and therapy resistance in head and neck cancer.

• Maintenance and handling of cell cultures (tumor cell lines and primary fibroblasts).
• Development and management of 3D biomodels (spheroids, co-cultures, PDOs).
• Processing and preparation of patient samples (blood and saliva).
• Application of standard molecular and cell biology techniques (nucleic acid extraction, PCR, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence).
• Performance of functional assays in fibroblasts and tumor cells: viability, proliferation, invasion, migration, adhesion and matrix contraction.
• Data analysis from proteomic, transcriptomic, and imaging experiments.
• Preparation of technical reports, support with scientific manuscript drafting, and contribution to the group’s progress reports.
