Industry-Academia Skills Development Manager

Context:

The CaRMEN FOR TRANSITIONS project (Regional Campus for Electronics and Nanotechnology Professions for Transitions), is a winner of an AMI CMA funded by France 2030 and led by the National Research Agency (ANR). This project aims to create a center of excellence in training and research in the fields of microelectronics, photonics and nanotechnologies, with a strong foothold in northern Île-de-France.

In this context, the Université Sorbonne Paris Nord (USPN), in partnership with ISEP, is recruiting a Business School relationship manager or an associate on a project contract (end of December 2030) on the one hand to develop links between the IUT and companies and on the other hand to work on developing and feminizing applications within training programs in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing (GEII), microelectronics and photonics in which the issues of the ecological and digital transitions will be developed.



Main missions:

1. Development of the sourcing of applications to high schools and colleges

• Raise awareness among students and educational teams about the professions in electronics, optoelectronics, and nanotechnology.

• Organize classroom interventions, visits to the IUT and the clean room, and participate in student fairs.

• Build a network of ambassadors among teachers and target young women and students in priority neighborhoods.

2. Prospecting and selling custom-made continuing education programs

• Identify and prospect for companies to offer ongoing training tailored to their skill development needs.

• Analyze skill needs, design customized training offerings, and negotiate contracts with companies.

• Promote funding mechanisms (CPF, OPCO) and organize training demonstrations.

3. Construction of commercial offers and attractiveness

• Develop modular training programs to meet the specific needs of companies.

• Create commercial materials and collaborate with teacher-researchers to adapt educational content.

4. Attractiveness, Organization, and retention of the business network

• Organize events dedicated to companies and ensure personalized follow-up of client companies.

• Retain clients by offering additional training or certification programs.

5. Reporting and valuation of shares

• Ensure quantitative and qualitative monitoring of the actions carried out and highlight the results.



Profile sought:

Training and experience:

• At least a three-year degree in business, marketing, training engineering, or technical field (electronics, physics).

• Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in sales of training or B2B services, customer relations, and business negotiation.

• Knowledge of the industrial sector or continuous training schemes (CPF, OPCO).

Key Skills:

• Strong commercial acumen and proficiency in consultative selling techniques.

• Ability to convince and unite a variety of stakeholders.

• Organization and autonomy to manage a client portfolio.

• Proficiency in digital tools (CRM, LinkedIn, Office/Google Suite).

Personal qualities:

• Dynamism, perseverance, and creativity.

• Sensitivity to industrial issues and the ecological and digital transitions.

• Commitment to inclusion, social diversity, and the feminization of professions.



Complementary assets:

- Teaching experience in the francophone academic field

- Appetite for technological fields (DeepTech)

- A cleanroom experience is a plus.



Project Contract Terms:



Type of contract: Project contract (article 47-2 of law no. 84-53 of 26 January 1984).

Start of the contract as early as possible.

12-month contract renewable until December 30, 2030.

Place of work: IUT de Villetaneuse (USPN), with frequent trips mainly to the Ile de France and occasionally to France.

Remuneration: €3,200 gross monthly
