Required Qualifications
1. A doctoral degree in mathematics within the field of exact and natural sciences (or an equivalent discipline under previous classification systems).
2. Proficiency in both Polish and English, sufficient to teach academic courses in both languages.
3. Research interests in:
a. probability theory (in particular concentration of measure),
b. stochastic processes (including Gaussian processes),
c. multilinear forms of random variables (including Gaussian chaoses).
4. Authorship of at least one scientific publication (monograph or article) other than the doctoral dissertation.
5. Presentation of at least two papers at scientific conferences, including at least one international conference.
6. Readiness to teach courses in probability theory, stochastic processes, mathematics, and mathematical analysis in Polish and English starting from the 2026/2027 academic year.

Selection process

Documents should be submitted to the Office of the Collegium of Economic Analysis, SGH Warsaw School of Economics, ul. MadaliĊ„skiego 6/8, room 230, Warsaw.
The deadline for submitting documents is 31 July 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
For documents sent by post, the date of receipt by SGH shall be decisive.
The University may conduct interviews, about which candidates will be informed individually by the Office of the Collegium of Economic Analysis.
The University reserves the right not to select any candidate without providing a reason.
The results of the competition will be published in the Public Information Bulletin (BIP) on the websites of the University and the minister responsible for higher education.
The outcome of the competition does not constitute employment of the selected candidate; rather, it serves as a recommendation to the Rector. The final decision on employment is made by the Rector.
