Assistant Professor (postdoctoral male/female) in the group of research and teaching staff at the Department of Mathematics, Institute of Mathematical Economics.

Required Qualifications
1. A doctoral degree in mathematics within the field of exact and natural sciences (or an equivalent discipline under previous classification systems).
2. Proficiency in both Polish and English, sufficient to teach academic courses in both languages.
3. Research interests in:
a. probability theory (in particular concentration of measure),
b. stochastic processes (including Gaussian processes),
c. multilinear forms of random variables (including Gaussian chaoses).
4. Authorship of at least one scientific publication (monograph or article) other than the doctoral dissertation.
5. Presentation of at least two papers at scientific conferences, including at least one international conference.
6. Readiness to teach courses in probability theory, stochastic processes, mathematics, and mathematical analysis in Polish and English starting from the 2026/2027 academic year.
Additional Advantages
1. Documented experience in teaching mathematics to economics students,
2. Completion of a postdoctoral research stay at a foreign scientific institution.

The results of the competition will be published in the Public Information Bulletin (BIP) on the websites of the University and the minister responsible for higher education.
The outcome of the competition does not constitute employment of the selected candidate; rather, it serves as a recommendation to the Rector. The final decision on employment is made by the Rector.
