Required Qualifications
1. A Master's degree or equivalent in the field of social sciences, in the discipline of economics and finance, or in analogous disciplines under the previous classification system;
2. Fluency in Polish and English, including the ability to teach courses in both languages;
3. Research interests in theoretical and applied macroeconomics; in particular, knowledge of issues related to:
a. research using advanced quantitative methods, especially structural macroeconomic models and econometric methods;
b. the latest developments in structural modelling, particularly in the areas of agent heterogeneity (households and firms), bounded rationality, or incomplete information;
c. macroeconomic policy, especially monetary, fiscal, and macroprudential policy;
d. the development of modern empirical methods in microeconomic and macroeconomic research;
4. Knowledge of computational environments or programming languages used for empirical research and structural modelling, such as R, STATA, Python, Matlab, and Dynare, with at least one at an advanced level and one at an intermediate level;
5. Willingness to teach courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics in both Polish and English from the 2026/2027 academic year onward, supported by documented prior teaching experience.

The University may conduct interviews, about which candidates will be informed individually by the Office of the Collegium of Economic Analysis.

The results of the competition will be published in the Public Information Bulletin (BIP) on the websites of the University and the minister responsible for higher education.
The outcome of the competition does not constitute employment of the selected candidate; rather, it serves as a recommendation to the Rector. The final decision on employment is made by the Rector.
