ESSENTIAL:
 This contract is for university graduates in the areas of Biomedical Engineering, Computer
Science, Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, and/or similar.
 A grade point average of above 7.5.
PREFERRED:
 Experience and knowledge in Computational biology and Bioinformatics would be
desirable.
 It will be highly desirable for the candidate to have experience working in a research lab.
 Knowledge of molecular and cellular biology techniques will be desirable.
 Previous experience in cancer research with publications or attendance at conferences.
 Medium/high level of written and spoken English.
*A disability certificate of 33% or higher is a plus. 
 

CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS

• TYPE OF CONTRACT: 6-month trainee researcher contract available, extendable to a maximum of 12 months.
• WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time
• EXPECTED START DATE: October 2026
• GROSS ANNUAL SALARY: €21,328.20 per year (gross).

The remuneration shall be based on the candidate’s commitment and merit, as well as how suited they are for the role. The worker must comply with the operating rules set by the Biogipuzkoa Institute in terms of commitment, duties, working hours, leave entitlements, etc.
