Tasks
Generals
Collaborate in the research project PECATHS - PHOTO-ELECTROCATALYTIC ROUTES FOR LONG-TERM SUSTAINABLE HYDROGEN STORAGE , under the direction and supervision of José Antonio Mata Martínez of the Department of Inorganic and Organic Chemistry as the person responsible for recruitment.
It will perform the functions of the predoctoral research staff in training (Projects) of Group A, Subgroup A1 .
Specific
- Preparation and characterization of electrochemical systems.
- Data processing and extraction of electrical parameters from electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and IMPS/IMVS measurements.
- Management and maintenance of an experimental research chemical laboratory.
- Chemical laboratory waste management.
- Safety management of a chemical laboratory.
- Collaborate and assist the laboratory's trainee researchers.

Hold an official university degree (Bachelor's and Master's):
Bachelor's degree in Physics and Master's degree in Sustainable Chemistry or related fields
- Experience in management and maintenance of an experimental research chemical laboratory.
- Experience in the use of electrochemical characterization techniques: voltammetry ,
- Chronoamperometry, impedance spectroscopy, IMPS/IMVS.
- Experience in the assembly and preparation of electrochemical cells, electrodes and electrolytes.
- Experience in the use of electron microscopy techniques.
- Experience in the use of programming languages and software for processing electrochemical experimental data.
- Research experience in a chemical laboratory or similar, especially in public institutions, universities or research centers.
- Development of models for the description of the optoelectronic properties of materials.
