About

PhD Fellowship Molecular dynamics simulations of atmospheric nanoparticles”

The Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences, Foundation of Research and Technology - Hellas, (FORTH/ICE-HT) is seeking applicants for one PhD fellowship in the context of the research project “Constrained aerosol forcing for improved climate projections (FORCes)” which is implemented under the EU-Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Action.

Job Description

To conduct research in the framework of the aforementioned project "FORCeS". The main objective of FORCeS is to understand and reduce the long-standing uncertainty in anthropogenic aerosol radiative forcing and to increase confidence in climate projections. The objective of this job is to improve the understanding of the physical and chemical properties of atmospheric nanoparticles by performing molecular dynamics simulations.

Location: FORTH/ICE-HT, Patras, Greece

Duration: 12 months with the potential of renewal

Salary:845 Euros per month

Envisaged starting date: 1 October 2020
