We are looking for:

Candidates holding a PhD in Materials Science or Chemistry which have a minimum of 2years’ full-time additional research experience are invited to apply. Applicants should demonstrate a research track record in materials science preferably with experience in working with biomaterials and a plus would be experience with packaging applications. Proficiency in English language and the ability to work independently and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams are a must. Previous experience in technology transfer activities is an additional asset.

We are looking for individuals with a genuine interest in developing new materials based on seaweed biopolymers for packaging applications.

Researcher’s employment will be linked to a 24-month mobility project (H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions) designed to further their research career in their area of expertise.

Researchers must not have lived or engaged in their main activity (work, study) in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately preceding the date on which the call closes (June 2021). The estimated starting date is October 2021.
