Diego Gudiño Zahinos, PhD in Education from the University of Extremadura, specializes in educational technology, peer assessment, digital learning and AI applied to education. His research focuses on innovative assessment methodologies, social media and digital tools in higher and vocational education. He has published in indexed journals, contributed to book chapters and participated in international conferences on educational innovation. His profile combines educational research, teacher training and practical experience in real learning environments.
Diego Gudiño Zahinos has demonstrated research independence through the design and implementation of studies on digital assessment and educational innovation. He has coordinated teacher training activities and developed projects focused on educational technology, multimedia learning and AI applications in education. His profile combines applied educational research, interdisciplinary collaboration and strong experience in real teaching environments, together with active participation in conferences, dissemination activities and digital transformation initiatives.
Project Idea:
My preliminary research proposal focuses on the integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence into educational assessment processes and the development of teacher digital competence in secondary and vocational education contexts.
Potential research lines include:
− Generative AI-supported assessment and feedback methodologies
− AI-enhanced peer assessment processes
− Teacher digital competence for responsible AI integration
− Ethical and pedagogical implications of Generative AI in education
− Digital wellbeing and responsible use of AI technologies in educational environments
− AI-assisted multimedia learning and educational content creation
The final project proposal will be collaboratively designed with the host institution and aligned with its research priorities, expertise, and international collaboration objectives.
