Project: Trustworthy Multilingual Large Language Models for High-Stakes Decision Support. This project will investigate how Large Language Models can be made more reliable, transparent, and culturally adaptable in multilingual decision-support contexts, such as education, public administration, healthcare communication, or legal information access. The research could focus on European languages, low-resource languages, and domain-specific institutional texts. Objectives: (1) Develop methods to evaluate hallucination, bias, factuality, and uncertainty in multilingual LLM outputs. (2) Design retrieval-augmented and human-in-the-loop approaches to improve the reliability of LLM-based systems. (3) Create benchmarks and evaluation protocols for trustworthy LLM deployment in institutional settings. (4) Produce practical guidelines for responsible LLM adoption by public and private organizations.
